"AMERICANA ROOTS/ROCK ARTIST PATRICK SHARROW IS ONE OF NASHVILLE'S FINEST RISING STARS."

THE STORY SO FAR...

Patrick Sharrow is a New York–born, Nashville-based Roots Rock and Americana singer-songwriter. With over 14 years of experience both on stage and in the studio, he has built a strong reputation as a commanding frontman and soulful vocalist. His dynamic guitar work and creative instincts have also made him a sought-after session musician and a valued presence on the road.

Born and raised just outside Albany, New York, Patrick cut his teeth playing dive bars and beer halls across the Northeast before making his way to Nashville. A true multi-instrumentalist, he developed a distinctive songwriting voice that draws from timeless influences like Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, and The Eagles, while channeling the modern spirit of Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, and Ryan Adams. His songs dig deep into the human condition, balancing homegrown lyrical honesty with melodic hooks that hit hard and linger long after the last chord rings out. “Patrick Sharrow has long been heralded as one of the brightest young stars in Nashville,” notes Iain McArthur of Rockfiend Publications.

In 2020, Patrick released his debut EP, Closing Arguments, before moving to Nashville, Tennessee — the heart of American music — to pursue his career full-time. Before heading south, he formed The Convoy, his full-time backing band. What began as a four-piece outfit has since evolved into a dynamic five-piece ensemble, channeling the spirit of classic American rock with shades of Bob Seger’s Silver Bullet Band and Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers.

Now based solely in Music City, The Convoy has become a fixture both locally and beyond, performing a blend of original material and an expansive repertoire of covers that span from Nashville’s Broadway country standards to classic and heavy rock anthems. Since relocating, the band has toured extensively across the southern, midwestern, and northeastern United States, and completed several extended residencies performing in the Rolling Stone Rock Room aboard Carnival’s Holland America Cruise Line. In addition to their work as a unit, members of The Convoy have also collaborated in various configurations as backing musicians for Nashville artists including Jax Hollow, Mina Roth, and Jacob Rice.

“When you see him live, you get it instantly,” says Maxwell Wheeler of Bernadette Booking. “He’s a young guy, but you can hear it throughout his music — from the ingenuity in his guitar playing to the passion in his voice, to the almost iconic, blue-collar ballad quality of his songwriting. Patrick Sharrow isn’t just going places — in many ways, he’s already there.”

Patrick released his first full-length studio album, The Heartland, on August 20, 2023. Blending cinematic storytelling with raw, heartland grit, the album moves seamlessly from anthemic rockers to intimate ballads — a testament to Sharrow’s versatility as both a writer and performer. Working alongside members of The Convoy and several of Nashville’s top session players, the record was tracked at Sienna Studios (formerly Quadraphonic Sound Studios) — a historic space that has hosted artists such as Joe Walsh and The James Gang, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, George Strait, Toby Keith, Grand Funk Railroad, and Lady A. The legendary studio also served as the birthplace of Neil Young’s Harvest and Jimmy Buffett’s Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes, which featured his timeless hit “Margaritaville.”

The Heartland showcases a broad range of musical styles and lyrical themes, reflecting Patrick’s roots in Americana, rock, and country storytelling. Since the album’s release, he has continued to tour extensively both with the band and as a solo artist, including two extended solo residencies in Arendal, Norway, in support of the record.

In 2025, Patrick signed with the Los Angeles–based independent label Pax-Americana Recording Company, founded by renowned artist and producer Ryan Adams. The partnership marks a new chapter in Patrick’s career — one that builds on the success of The Heartland while expanding his sound and scope as a songwriter. He is currently working on a follow-up EP and two full-length albums, all produced by the seven-time GRAMMY-nominated Adams, further cementing Patrick Sharrow & The Convoy as one of the most compelling voices in modern American roots rock.
